Roberts-Norton Wedding
James and Nanette Roberts of Groton happily announce the marriage of their son, James Ryan Roberts to Emily Norton of Concord, NH. The bride is the daughter of William Norton and the late Helen Norton. The wedding ceremony took place August 23, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Concord, NH.
The reception, held at the Kimball Jenkins Estate, was filled with great laughter and wonderful memories with many friends and family that attended from near and far. Meredith Roberts, sister of the groom, was thrilled to be in the wedding party as was Timothy Norton, brother of the bride. Other Groton residents that presided as groomsmen were Ryan Manley, Devlin Mann, Mark Heusser and Craig Heusser.
J.R. is a 2005 graduate of Groton Dunstable Regional High School and received his undergraduate degree in Construction Management at Wentworth Institute of Technology. He is employed by Forrester Construction Company as Project Manager of the Millennium Project at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC. He is currently working on his Masters of Civil Engineering at Virginia Tech.
Emily received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Simmons College and is currently seeking her Masters in Transportation Policy, Operations and Logistics at Virginia Tech. She is employed as Senior Analyst at the U.S. Department of Transportation's Office of the Inspector General in Washington, DC.
The couple resides in Arlington, VA after honeymooning in China and the Dominican Republic.
