WPI, Southern NH University, and Champlain College Bestow Honors on Groton/Dunstable Residents
WPI
Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has announced that Charles Hill of Groton, Mass., a first-year student majoring in biomedical engineering, has been named a Charles O. Thompson Scholar for the 2013-14 academic year. Named in honor of the first president of WPI, this honor recognizes outstanding performance by first-year students. To be eligible for membership, students must achieve all A's and B's (with a minimum of six A's) in their academic subjects during their first three terms at WPI.
Southern NH University
Phillip Tripodakis of Groton, majoring in Business Administration, has been named to the President's List for the spring 2014 semester at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester. To be eligible for this honor, a student must compile an academic grade point average of 3.7-4.0.
Cody Paul of Groton, majoring in Creative Writing/English w/conc in Fiction Writing, has been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2014 semester at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester.
Micah Sheffield of Groton, who is majoring in Exploratory Studies, has been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2014 semester at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester.

Kaitlin McCarthy a resident of Dunstable, majoring in Early Childhood/Elementary Education, has been named to the spring 2014 Dean's List at Champlain College, a private baccalaureate institution, located in Burlington, Vt.
