On a sunny first day of November, members of the Groton Garden Club pruned and mulched the gardens at the Groton Fire Station to get ready for the winter season. The Groton Fire Department Explorer Post 4879 provided complimentary hot dogs and drinks for all the Halloween Trick or Treaters in the center of Groton at the Congregational Church on Main Street. Parents were invited to take a seat, relax from all the walking and enjoy a break with their Trick or Treaters while enjoying fresh hot dogs and drinks. Photo by Connie Sartini
