Opening on CONSERVATION COMMISSION

Groton Conservation Commission is a town board consisting of seven volunteers appointed by Selectmen. It is the official agency charged with protection of Groton's natural resources. The Commission also advises other municipal departments and boards on conservation issues. In addition the Commission is responsible for managing more than 2,000 acres of town-owned conservation land. Effective July 1, 2014, there will be an opening on the Commission.

Any resident interested in serving on the Commission is encouraged to contact the Conservation Commission at 978-448-1106 or ttada@townofgroton.org. Interested candidates should also fill out a "Committee Interest Form" which is available in Selectmen's or Conservation Commission's offices in Town Hall. Submit applications by June 9, 2014.
