Benedictine College Signs Groton-Dunstable Senior Ryan Heinser
"Getting Ryan was a big win not just for the lacrosse team, but for the school and the community," said head men's lacrosse Coach Ben Coughlin. "He is an outstanding young man with great character and values. He is exactly the type of individual we want associated with Benedictine.
Heinser was named a co-captain for 2015 season and a three-year varsity lacrosse player. In 2014, he scored 14 goals while tallying eight assists. He also has a 60-percent face-off win percentage.
In addition to lacrosse achievements, he was a varsity letter winner in football and participated in honors courses while interning at his local police department.
"I have visited Benedictine College several times and have been very impressed by the academic, faith, and athletic environments," said Heinser. "I look forward to challenging myself academically, and working with Coach Coughlin and my teammates as the Raven's lacrosse program moves forward in the years to come."
