GYMNASTICS - GD Finishes Strong

"It is unheard of to have a first year team qualify for sectionals and send multiple individuals to States," said Groton-Dunstable gymnastics coach Bill Kane.

"We are also very proud of Emily Chu for earning a spot on the senior National team!  She will be competing in Florida in May representing Team Massachusetts!    "We are looking forward to next year and while we lose our two senior captains, Emily Chu and Keara Prince, we will have a few additions that we expect to step up and contribute. Tess Ierardi will be back, returning from an injury that occurred halfway through this past season, and we'll welcome return of LivVolante and 2015 MVP Auste Subaciute!"

  The team will make an appearance Thurs., March 5 on Groton Channel's "Around Town with Jane Bouvier".

  Gymnastics team plans to do a gym show fundraiser at Planet Gymnastics Friday night, April 10. a show with choreographed dances, acrobatics, and comedy.Pproceeds will purchase new equipment for the team!
