High Scorer Honored

UMass-Dartmouth sophomore, Rachel McCarron was recently honored at a women's basketball game between Groton-Dunstable and Fitchburg. In her senior year at G-D, McCarron reached 1,000 points on a free throw in a game against St. Bernard's.
She finished her high school career with 1,042 points and 669 rebounds. McCarron is presently in the nursing program at UMD and is a member of the women's basketball team.
