Icemen Get First Win; Defeat Westborough 4-2

Visiting Groton-Dunstable (1-4) got goals from Harry Perrault (Assist: Brad Garside, Matt Carroll), Nate Rabbit (assist: Mike Cole), Ryan Dodge (assist: Cam Strong), Robert Hoare (assists: Brad Garside, Perrault) and held on to defeat Westborough 4-2 on Monday night.

"The team is starting to find their identity and understanding their individual roles," shared Groton-Dunstable coach Phil Rowley. Despite a loss to powerhouse Shrewsbury (5-1) and a tough 3-2 defeat at the hands of Algonquin (5-1), the Crusaders seem to be starting to put it together.

"We finally finish our shots and are getting good looks at net," continued Rowley.

"The defense has stepped up and kept opponents outside the dots, and our goalies have been getting more confident. Last night Ben McEvoy (15 saves) had a good game making the saves he needed to make! Hopefully we build off this win."
