SHEPLEY HILLS TRAIL HIKE
Sunday, Jan. 11 at 1PM sharp, join us on a guided hike on Shepley Hills, led by Groton Trails Committee and the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC). This conservation area, owned by Groton Conservation Trust, features hardwood and pine forests, a soapstone quarry, eskers, hills to climb, and a pretty stream.
Walk on Shepley Hills is about 3 miles and 2 hours long, and is suitable for families with hiking children. Dogs must be kept under owner's control and leashed upon request. Wear comfortable hiking shoes. Hike held unless very stormy.
