In accordance with MGL Chapter 40A and the Townsend Zoning Bylaws, Section 145-42 Site Plan Review Special Permit and Section 145-65 Special permits, Townsend General Bylaw Chapter 85: NPDES Phase II Stormwater Management and Chapter 175: Art. V Stormwater Regulations, the Townsend Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 9, 2025 at 6:45 p.m., in the Selectmen’s Chambers at Memorial Hall, 272 Main Street, to review a Site Plan review special permit application and a Major Stormwater management permit application received from 324 Main St Partners LLC. The applicant is proposing to renovate an existing vacant gas station and convenience store located at 324 Main Street (Map 50 Block 17 Lot 0). The project includes reconstruction of an existing building to include a convenience store, second floor office space, and a coffee shop with drive-through service. The project will also improve an existing pump station and canopy and provide 8 fueling positions. 24 marked parking spaces and a new sign location are also proposed.
